Therizinosaurus appeared in the special `Giant Claw` where it was the primary focus.  About 17 minutes into the programme, Nigel found a desolate nest which belonged to Therizinosaurus which had been vandalized by moniter lizards.  Nigel found an embryo of a baby Therizinosaurus. He then found some herbivore dung with vegetation still inside.  Later Nigel found an arm of a Therizinosaurus and some teeth.  He then compared himself to the arm but got interrupted by a pack of Velociraptors.

After a close encounter, Nigel returned to the shore but found a Tarbosaurus drinking.  But then, a Therizinosaurus appeared and the two titans clashed.  The Therizinosaurus narrowly missed a bite from the tyrannosaur but then retaliated with a swipe to the face.  The Tarbosaurus backed down.  The Therizinosaurus then started browsing with its herd.  Nigel even got close and touched one's leg.  The Therizinosaurus knocked him over and wandered off with its herd.
